Dr. Currence is the founder and CEO of Currence Consulting, LLC (Psychological Private Practice).

Dr. Currence is a licensed psychologist in the states of Ohio and Illinois. With almost 20 years of education and experience, he has proven himself to be a caring individual committed to the development and holistic wellness of his clients.
Dr. Currence received his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The Ohio State University. He has served in a number of mental health organizations throughout his doctoral training and clinical career, offering such services as individual/group/family/marital psychotherapy (Matrix Psychological Services), psychological assessments (MedPsych Ohio Valley, Inc.), intervention to survivors of abuse and neglect (Directions for Youth and Families), as well as working with individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries (The Ohio State University, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation). Dr. Currence is currently the owner of Currence Consulting,LLC (Psychological Private Practice).
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Currence has served as Adjunct Faculty for the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University, where he has instructed a number of undergraduate and graduate courses.
Dr. Currence has been happily married to Kysha for 20 years and is the proud father of Kennedy and Isaiah.
