Elder Ruth Pugh began ministering to the heart of men and women at an early age. At the age of four, the ministry began to develop as she sang with her Sunday school choir. At age 10, she was baptized and God filled her with His power not long after. Elder Pugh yielded to the evangelistic field in 1993 under the leadership of her pastor and mentor, the late District Elder Robert Burroughs. In 2003, she was ordained under the headship of Dr. Gregory Ballard. She continued in ministry under the guidance of Pastor Ray Robinson until January 22, 2012, at which time she was released into Pastoral Ministry. Elder Pugh is the founder of Designer’s Original Ministry in the city of Lorain. On Sunday, September 5, 2016, under the divine direction of God, Designer’s Original Ministries connected with Point of Grace Ministries to impact the community. At this moment in time, Elder Pugh is moving by the grace of God under the leadership of Pastor Ray H. Robinson Jr.
Elder Pugh graduated from Admiral King High School in 1977. Post high school, she graduated from Lorain County Community College with an Office Assistant Certificate and Lorain Business College, where she received an Administrative Assistant Associates Degree.
