Urgent Plea for Prayer
This 30-second video was taken while I stood on a boat in the Sea of Galilee watching what I believe was the waters dancing. I called out to God asking Him to show Himself to me. After I had finished praying I opened my eyes to this amazing scene right before me. With tears I knew…”God still speaks to me.”

How will I continue my journey? I will continue to write, speak, and of course pray.
“When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying. Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer the door. When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, ‘Peter is at the door!’ ” (Acts 12:12-14).
Setting the Stage
On the other side of town the church was praying at the house of a wealthy widow of Jerusalem named Mary, who was the mother of John, also called Mark. She owned a large house in the city. They were praying for Peter. They were in a time of intercession.
Meet Rhoda.
Rhoda is a young servant girl who was full of joy and gladness. She was learning and growing. Based upon Scripture, she was in a time of intercession with the others.
As they were praying, Rhoda hears a knock at the door!
It’s clear from the Scriptures that no one else heard the knock, but Rhoda!
I can imagine Rhoda getting up from off her knees, going towards the door.
Scripture tells us that she recognized Peter’s voice. She got excited, but did not open the door.
Have you ever been so close to your miracle that you got too excited and forgot to open the door?
Stop shouting about it and OPEN THE DOOR!
Rhoda could have fallen into believing she was crazy and thought she heard something, but did not … NO … she kept saying, “Peter’s at the door!”
The “thing,” “the person” we’ve been praying about is at the door.
Prayer had done what it was designed to do. Now walk out of faith and open the door!
Here’s our problem. Oftentimes we keep praying for something when the prayer has been answered.
You’ll miss what God has for you if you miss the knock at the door.
“I stand at the door and knock! If any man hear my voice, and open the door. I will come in to him, and will sup with him” (Revelation 3:20, KJV).
We would love to hear from you about your prayer journey.
Thank you for taking this journey with us.
Remember … your help comes from the Lord.
Keep praying and continue to intercede on behalf of others. Lives were changed because of your faithfulness to pray with us during this time.
Whatever you do … STAY THE COURSE. KEEP PRAYING.
May the Lord bless you greatly. May His loving arms wrap around you to give you a peace and a comfort. May Jesus wipe every tear that comes from your eyes. May Jesus give you strength to stand and to continue to stand. May God’s supernatural power sustain you this day and every day hereafter. May you feel God’s love everlasting, and may His presence always be with you. May all your prayers that are aligned with God’s will come to you right now, in the name of Jesus. May you live your life in abundance. May God bless you with His wisdom. May you experience greatness and share your love and life with others to glorify God. May God open every door, and may all your requests be manifested right now, in the name of Jesus, because of your faithfulness on this journey. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
