After stepping away from sugar and realizing how much this stuff is a real addiction, I started doing some research on this topic. This very topic some Christians are afraid touch.

With that said…

Our human dignity is affirmed by the fact that we are the crown of God’s creation, made in His image and likeness. By nature we are creatures of worship and we were made to be worshipers, and so the deepest part of us is always calling out to what is greater than us. We are imperfect people living in an imperfect world, yearning for perfection beyond ourselves. (Eccl. 3:11) There is an emptiness that must be filled–a constant war within us between the ideal and the real for which we seek relief. (Rom. 7:22)

Who are You?
Knowing yourself has everything to do with knowing God and being free from any kind of addiction.
1) Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19)
2) A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9)
3) Fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139)

We are always under the influence of something: World/Flesh, Demonic or The Holy Spirit (1 John 2:16, Rom. 6:19, 1 Cor. 7:5, 1 Thes. 2:18, Gal. 5:16-21)

You get to choose! This is what it means by our free will.

We have six more days on this topic. Remember to check back tomorrow as I continue to go deeper. The first two days are simply setting the stage.
