There is a question that always exists in our community when dealing with the current landscape of our nation, world, and environment at large. What the hell is going on? All you need to do to discover the answer is examine the manner by which people function with one another daily. We are witnessing individuals in positions of power constantly taking full privilege of creating greater distance between the disenfranchised and benefactors of systemic inequity. Hell has taken up residence right here on earth.
Many people are struggling to find their place in this world of constant turmoil. Some individuals have given up on the prospect of a world that can be brand new. People have dismissed the hope of possibly experiencing equality and equity in their day. It is challenging to look around and see what needs to be changed while looking within and asking yourself if you have what it takes to make an impact on this environment.
Advocacy is defined as any action that speaks in favor of, recommends, argues for a cause, supports or defends, or pleads on behalf of others. We live in a society that requires voices to speak for the voiceless. We need people that are driven by a vision where people no longer perish under the weight of injustice.
